Hi Mick,

Thanks for writing. I am planning to visit Panama in January to check out different areas. I really do not want to live in or near Panama city, but I need to earn a living and don't know if it is possible anywhere else. I am a professional photographer - and want to open a business in Panama doing photography - but I don't want to do nickle and dime stuff - I need a clientele that is willing to spend substantially for quality work. I would love to live in the Boquete area but retirees don't tend to spend much on photography. Affluent families with children would be my target.

Right now I specialize in High School Senior Portraiture, which is a big thing here - but not sure if there is a similar market in Panama. My website is www.marciseniors.com.

I am thinking that I may do well with the Quincera (sp?) market in Panama city. I'd love your thoughts on my ideas.

(My dream is a home in the mountains with a clean, natural fresh water swimming hole)
