I just arrived in Panama driving my car from Costa Rica 2 days ago. I rented an apartment for a month, while i look for property to possibly move here. I was just informed that my brother in the USA passed away last night. I need to fly back to the USA for a week or so for the funeral and to sign off on his estate. Since the car is on my passport for 30 days i am to understand that i am not suppose to leave the country without taking the car with me, and i don't have the 2 days necessary to do that. I am getting the death certificate scanned and e-mailed directly from the coroner. My question is can i get a waiver from immigration for the car to stay here for a bereavement emergency since i will have a return ticket to Panama to complete my trip?

does anyone know of a store in Panama City that sells security/spy equipment? Trying to find a spy pen or tiny pin camera and recording equipment
