Thread: Cost to live in Panama?

How much would you have to have each month to survive ok in Panama?

Depends on your lifestyle, I would say $1500 minimum, $2200 for couple to survive ok on supermarket food (apartment is a big expense, $700 to $1000).

Those prices are very true of Panama City, the interior can be easily half the cost if not less.

The cost of living in PANAMA CITY purely depends on the way you live. I know it would cost a minimum of $1400 to $2000 per two people and the apartment rent in panama city is quite expensive.

Without rent, how much would general living expenses be? $500 a month? anybody on the forum prepared to outline their general costs for an average month as an example?
