Thread: Which is cheaper, shipping everything or buying new

Like many people on the board, my wife and I are researching Panama. Would it be cheaper to ship most of our stuff from the U.S. (cars, appliances, electronics, etc.) or would it be cheaper to just buy the stuff there.

I know that due to the face that Panama is a major port, you can get a lot of things cheap. Which would be the way to go, ship or buy new?

Bring as little down as possible, your life and lifestyle will be changing allot. You can buy anything you need in Panama.
