Thread: Bored out of my mind

I have just recently moved here in the last month and i am living in gamboa which many of you probably know isnt exactly near civilization. i moved here from florida and i am having trouble finding things to do like i did back home such as fish with some friends,watch/play sports,or just simply go out at night and have some fun. my spanish sucks but i am tryying to learn but it isnt so good right now. just wanted to see if there is anyone out there that might be able to help me overcome this complete boredom with something to do or some advice thank you if you can help

ya , here is a idea , visit a country before you move there .

For sure you shouldnt be bored today in Gamboa with the arrival of Noriega...

Move out of Gamboa.

Move to Panama City.

Move to Florida.

Really your a guy and you cant find anything to do in Panama??

considering i jus moved here dont have a car yet and dont kno many people here or speak the language well yea i cnt find much to do that is extremely entertaining while i live in gamboa around a bunch of older people and moving back to florida would be a great idea if it was even possible for me i was forced to move here wasnt a choice or else i wouldnt of moved here

mum and dad dragged him here i think . if that the case you can be happy or sad you are in panama , if you can work with it and try to make yourself happy , life will work out , if you fight it , life is going to suck while you are here , your choice .

that is exactly what happened and i am not fighting it jus tryying to find options to entertain me but wit the advice of all the dozey pricks above it doesnt help much

well if your old enough to take off for a few days and explore the rest of the country , that might help and will let you see there is way more to panama than the city . check and see if you can find some yahoo groups on panama where you might meet more north americans , start studing spanish and that helps fit into the country better

yea thats what i have been looking into the past few days so im pretty sure i will end up doing somethin like that to get me out the house and i definately need to find classes or something to help me on my spanish. thanks
any places that arent far or easy to get to that you recommend visiting

You can start wrestling the gators in Gamboa and charge admission for some quick cash. Also, film it and put it on Youtube.
