Thread: Cable Onda Sports/College Football and other

There are 3 college football games on at 3:30 pm. 15, 108 and 333. Two at at 12 plus gameday was on at 10. That is pretty good.

Fox Sports also has the last meeting of Mizzou and Kansas but it is in Spanish. Game does not appear to be broadcast nationally in the US.

Only national game we are missing is the Civil War from Oregon. I understand that limited appeal in Central America.

The main point of all of this is how is Quinnipac and UMASS playing hockey on Cable Onda HD 2? Either as part of this or before the game there was a puff piece on homecoming at Quinnipac. I wish more NHL games were on here but how what demand is there for this game?

Why is it not possible for American ESPN to be on the cable lineup.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I ask why Fox Sports does not have the option to listen in English. Listening to Mexican commentators for Football is absolute torture.

and just to stir the pot , american football is like girl football , in Canada we have a longer field , a wider field , one less guy and only 3 downs , and half the year they play in the cold and sometimes snow , now thats FOOTBALL

I'm not really familiar with Canadian Football, but to me the only consequence of the differences that you posted would be lower scores.
In American Football, teams that have non-dome stadiums tend to dominate because they have to get used to playing in tougher conditions.
It would be great, though, to have some games between Canadian and American teams!

that would be good to see , they would have to try each others rules , i believe it would be easier for the Canadians . the short , narrow field and 4 downs would make it better whereas your guys might find the long , wide 3 downs hard . would be entertaining

I don't understand why you can't get US ESPN either... or other US channels. I'm sure a lot of us would be willing to buy it if they did....
