Believes, ghosts and witches in Panama

    Hi all!
I’d like introduce a thread on another curiosity; Believes, ghosts and witches in Panama.

A woman that gives birth must not wash her hair on 40 days, or else she is likely pick up decease.
If a woman has menstruation she must not go to visit an infant.

There is a road witch is haunted. There are both ghosts and witches on it. The road is located between summit and the Chilibre entrance on the Panama – Colon Highway. I don’t know the exact name of the road. Maybe it can be “Calle de la Sona” or something. It is a road through the woods.
Several things have been seen. It starts at 12 or 1 am. “Nobody” dares to walk or drive that road alone at that hour.
Things can happen like a woman stops the car to get a ride. Suddenly she disappears or appears right there in the seat beside you.

I have just picked up things like this when talking to people. Word of mouth from friends and family.
Panamanians are anxious to tell about these things.
Just ask someone about it and they’ll tell.
    Share it here. It’s fun.

The guys that came and painted my house were talking about the Tulivieja, it sounded so interesting, I ask them who she was and they told me about this woman that had two kids and she left them alone at home and she went to a dance, when she came back there was a fire and the kids had died, she felt so guilty that she killed herself, and today she still is looking for her kids, she comes out at night and she will take any kid that is in her way never to be seen again. Loved this type of folklore.

About 75 % of the population is Catholic so tons of folks that believe in virgin births, resurrection, a variety of crazy miracles, judgment after death, original sin and so in. No doubt can you throw more stuff into that pot, except maybe original sin.

The final part about the lady looking for a ride sounds like a 2.5 DUI.
