Hello,
I am reading lots but have not seen (yet) a cut and dry post/thread on the rules to live in Panama. If anyone has a link then I will appreciate it.
The only thing I can compare it to is when I checked into Costa Rica and decided that I believe Panama would work for me and my family (no children) better. I work in the medical field and see you are blessed with a wonderful hospital.....can't say the same about a lot of hospitals in America, only a handful.
So what are the rules to get to be a citizen of Panama? Do I need to purchase a home first? Have a job first? Live in Panama for a few months then go back to America only to make the trip back to Panama again?
I would be moving by myself first then bringing my parents within the following year.
Someone made a remark in another thread about looking into a place first....well, that is what I am doing!
ANY info or links are appreciated, and I plan on making a mini vacation to Panama the first of 2012 so suggestions as to where to go to find more info would be appreciated also!
