    Panama is a Small Country

So a friend of mine went out after work last week.

He went to a restaurant close to El Patio or similar on Via Espana.

For some reason he wanders into a bar/restaurant that has just opened. He immediately spots Roberto Duran in the crowd. After about 45 mins he goes up to Mr Duran and ask for a picture - approved of course.

So the next day at work he shows the pictures from the event to a co-worker.

    - Here, check out these pictures from the event.
    - Ok, nice, by the way do you know who the guy to the right in this picture is?
    - No - but that's the guy who took my picture with Roberto Duran.
    - Well, it's Martin Torrijos, the (ex)-President of Panama.
    - Ohh.

Re: Panama is a Small Country

I went to the casino adjacent to the Raddison Decapolis one night with my brother and we "met" a beautiful, non-Colombian "working girl." No transaction occurred but we very much enjoyed the attention of such a beautiful woman. The next night my brother and I went to Hooter's and saw the same woman now working as the Balboa Beer girl handing out Balboa t-shirts with the purchase of a bucket of Balboa's. The next night we were in the Veneto and once again saw our friend "working." I left town the next day so I'm not sure where she would have turned up next.
