    Weather in Panama

Hello all, this is my first post, and I look forward to many more. It's great that there is this online community to help newbies such as myself, and I will help others in return.

My first question: My wife and I are looking to spend our winters in Panama (we're in Canada, and the cold sucks). We don't like humidity, so we're looking at the mountains. Is there somewhere where the temps are moderate, there is shopping and restaurants nearby, as well as water and hiking, nature, where it is safe and where we can rent a house.

Thank you to all of you for any info you can provide.

if you dont like humidty , dont come to panama . . it is as simple as that . places like Boquete get 30 ft of rain a year , there in the mountains , I live in the driest part of panama and we get about 4 ft a yr , in the wet season the humidity is 65-90% all the time , in the dry season it is 50-55% .
