Anyone subscribe magazines from US? Where do you ask them to send the magazines to? Are PO boxes OK, or you have to use Mailbox etc or similar? Do you receive them on time?
My kids miss their magazines and I am wondering if it is worth the effort.

Yes, I have a few each month sent to my PO Box. I get all of mine pretty much right on-time, one of my kids has never gotten theirs - either it's not going through, someone in Miami wants it, or who knows. But it seams to be about 98% worthwhile.
Earth Class Mail has been recommended by others on this forum for U.S. post office boxes, mailing opening/scanning services, and forwarding (basically manage your mail online). www.earthclassmail.com
I use MailBoxes for mine. I get them in time. So far no problem.
"If you must say yes, say it with an open heart. If you must say no, say it without fear.
We got a Mailbox Etc box in Coronado (we live near Penonome). They provide you often with an address in Miami, and then they forward the mail from there to their location here. Depending on how often you want you mail, you could get a place closer to where you reside.
We went with Coronado since we stop by there about once a month and pick everything up. We pay about $15 for 2 kilograms of mail. Be careful if you order something large, like packages. Our $15 month bill was $160 for last month since we ordered some large things.
Another option is to get a mailbox in Panama, which is probably less expensive and use the delivery service in Panama called A Todo Diario. They have little mini vans that deliver even to your home. Maybe having you stuff delivered once a month would make it economical, but your children may be behind a few days on your information.
