Thread: Cell 3.5G Band.-

I know that Masmovil voice band is 850. Does anybody know what band they use for 3.5G data?.

I assume also 850 mhz but it would be good to get confirmation of this. This does make it harder to find compatible phones.

For voice at least:

Mas Movil and Movistar 850
Claro 1900
Digicel 1800/1900

I tried calling Masmovil but I could not get the info. People that answer the phone there have room temperature IQs. I guess that 3.5G is so new to Panama that they have no idea of how it works.....
