Thread: Dance (Ballet) in Panama??

Hello!

I'm moving to Panama at the end of June to study Spanish (if you've any first-hand suggestions on adequate schools, please message me), meet my family there, and just try something different.

I'm a dancer here in the states, and wanted to see if anyone knows of any schools/studios in particular where dance classes are offered. Not necessarily in a university, but like academies or professional studios, if this type of thing exists in Panama. I was told I'm likely to find something in Panama City, or a major town, but my internet searching hasn't yielded any results thus far.

Any suggestions?

Habla Ya in Boquete teaches Spanish. No ballet though, salsa or meringue.

Check out Berlitz: it is a language school. And I know in the UNiversity of Panama (near albrook terminal) they teach dance/ballet and gymnastics. Maybe you can join them, I know there level is pretty high. There are also several dance schools all over Panama but most of them offer salsa/merengue...haven't seen ballet yet

There is a ballet school in Brisas Del Golf, just in front of PowerClub. It also has classes of rytmic and normal gymnastics and other dances, will try to get the number next time I'm there!
