    Pensionado benefits

According to International Living, Pensionados enjoy many benefits such as, 25% discounts at restaurants, 25-50% at hotels and also significant discounts on travel. Is this accurate? Do many businesses offer discounts?

yes there are many things good that come from the pensionado visa , , dont believe everything you hear from IL , you need to come explore on your own , they sell their stuff and are looking out for themselves as all companies do , things can be found cheaper if you come down and spend the time to shop , and until you decide by looking, you have no idea on the area of the country that suits you best . just go slow and do your own homework . this forum and many yahoo forums have a ton of good info to learn before you visit .

The businesses have to give the discounts by law.
