Thread: URGENT dogkennel / doghotel / dogsitter

I need to fly to the us tomorrow morning, and the person that was gonna look after my dog can't make it :S
Does anyone know a good doghotel, or something like that, preferably from own experience? Or does anyone feel like looking after the sweetest golden retriever on the planet for 4 days? I'll be back Thursday evening.

Phewww problem solved But still, if anybody knows anything about this, the information would be more then welcome for next time!

Im willing to take care of your dog ! For doghotels try asking at pet stores like Melo or Oh my Pet (metromall) maybe they know more.

Im living in Las Americas right now...its pretty close to the airport!

Ehmm not sure but i dont think so. Shes staying with a friend of ours, but he does go to diner at Causeway sometimes. Why what did you see? The sweetest golden retriever ever?

I saw a golden retriever a heard some people talking Dutch... (also english) so I thought...might be your dog! He behaved very good !

On a tangent to this thread, how difficult is it to import pets in Panama?

No my dog is naughty lol and she's staying with Panamanian friends

Easier then u would expect. I have just had my dog come over from the Netherlands. I worked with a company called Panama Pet Relocation. I had all her shots done back home, then had her health certificate stamped in the panamanian consulate. The rest panama pet relocation did. She was out of customs in 20 minutes,and quarantine isnt needed. Everythign went really smooth and easy. Easier then getting internet in my appartment for example :S

this is the company Panama Pet Relocation . They're a bit weird cause they start asking for (pre)payment right away lol but we went to visit them first and decided to go for it, and absolutely no regrets! They really do deliver!

I found them on Facebook and they seem to have 100% positive feedback. We are going to use them to handle the shipments of our pets when we move.

Hope your dogs are not of the flat nose type eg English Bulldog, etc. Airlines will not fly them. If they are cabin dogs I was told only two dogs or cats are allowed in the cabin per flight!!
