Thread: 2 Homes Broken Into In Las Tablas Area

Just an fyi, there have been two homes that have been robbed in the past 2 weeks in the Las Tablas area. One was an expat from Canada and his wife out on Playa Uverito. The banditos may have had a copy of the keys, house was completely ripped off. Second was right in downtown, another Canadian couple. They left a small window open on their house. Somebody managed to crawl through the window and grab small stuff that would fit through the opening. Always keep aware and keep everything locked up really good.

Thanks for the warning, mrwoohoo! Would you catch the banditos before we get there? Just catch them-I will take care of them after that!
Too bad for the Canadians. It will cost alot to replace things.This makes me wonder if "rental insurance" is available down there??

Same thing last week in David for a Canadian friend of mine. AC and all electric wires stolen + more.

My wife was just in town this morning and noticed that the Todo Dollar store had broken front windows and had been been robbed apparently during the night.

I think it is due to the holidays and the fact there are a lot of Canadians here in Panama.

Don't worry about it, Steve. I know some mean Americans also. There are thieves in everyday society. You won't be singled out.
