Need info on relocating to Panama

    Hi everyone,
I was born in Panama but haven't lived there since I was two years old. Now I am 25 married with two kids in the USA and would like to know a couple of things I hope you all could help me with. What type of visa do my kids and husband need to become permanent residents of Panama? Would my husband and I be able to get work at any of the call centers even though my Spanish isn't great and he doesn't speak Spanish at all? Does anyone have any links or names of call centers that are hiring ? Do they offer medical insurance and is it true that as long as you are working you can purchase a car and or home as long as you have direct deposit or something like that I am not sure exactly how it works? I also would like to go to the university of Panama is it free to attend with just a fee of 35-40 dollars per semester? How does it work? What are the best schools in Panama City for kids ages 7 and 9 to attend? I know I'm asking a lot of questions but appreciate all of your answers. Thank you very much.

Hmm im no expert, sice i just moved down 2 days ago, but from what i been reading and hearing its all not as easy as that.

Becoming permanent residents requires big investments.
Working permits arent very easy to acquire.
Without spanish you dont stand a chance here. Dont know work-wise, but just to live here you'll need to speak spanish. Nobody speaks english!
A friend of mine is in university and pays about $180 per semester if i remember correctly.
Medical bills are dirt cheap tho i hear.

If you type these words into the search bar, you will find threads about all these subjects with loads of useful information! .

    Goodluck!

If you had your first kid when you were 16, have no education and can only attain a position in a call center, then stay away from Panama. You will be much better off utilizing the services of the USA for your kids education. You would live like rats here on the income you get from a call center.

You will not be happy in Panama. Maybe when you retire you might want to consider coming.

I just checked with an HR manager for a larger company in Panama and you can expect $450 per month for an operational position in a call center in Panama.
