Question Magic Jack / Skype on the Azuero?

Anyone living on the Azuero successfully using Skype or a Magic Jack to call the US? Is it possible to have the bandwidth needed?
    Thanks!

hi , i am , i skype my very old mother every couple of days just to see how she is doing , i use a modem from a cell tower , she always has her cam on and sometimes i use mine , some days we can chat for 1/2 a hour without dropping a call , other days it drops every minute , works good for what i need , if it was for a company work it would suck ,

I am currently using Majic Jack. It is wonderful. Don't leave the US without it.

Re: Magic Jack / Skype on the Azuero?

I've used Magicjack in a number of countries and for my application, it is far superior to Skype. For both of them the internet connection must be reliable and reasonably fast but the sound clarity was far superior over Magic Jack.

PLUS ! .... after your annual payment, it's no charge. We gave 2 to our daughter and son-in-law in Dominican Republic and they would call us and we could call them at no charge since we select numbers that were local to where we live.

Not sure if Magic Jack will allow video calls but the video calls on Skype were not that great.
