Re: Best places in the city for....

I've haven't been going out very much for the past couple of years because I'm happy at home with my lady. So I'll let other guys answer.

Here's some of my favorite restaurants in no particular order:

    Peruvian food: Machu Picchu
Burgers: The Market (good for other things too) or Burgues
    Favorite place in Multi-Plaza: Tomatoes
    Best sushi: Radisson
Best sushi for the price: Sushi House
    Best Italian: Wine Bar/Pomodoro

I could keep going but I'll let others chime in.

For restaurants my favourite is the Swiss Chalet / 1985, for the quality of food, service and ambience the price is not unreasonable. Also the Pomodoro which is open all day and you can smoke on the terrace. The Terazza at Multi Paza has reasonably priced lunch menus and good views.

For a quick drink the bar at the Veneto is only about $2 for a beer and open 24 hours.
