Question Tourista Visa?/ Just got a apartment in Panama

I have a question about this 90 day thing. Okay, I have already visited Panama 2 times this year. Each the first time I stayed 14 days and the second time I stayed 16 days. Do the days all count towards my 90 days or do they start over each time I come back to the country.

    Second question

I want to return to live in Panama for the last week of December of 2010 and return back to the US from Panama the end of Feburary. Will my 90 days start over since this will be 2011?

How do I go about getting more time in Panama since I am now renting a apartment in the city? My Panamanian girlfriend takes care of the place while I'm gone... Do I have to apply for a special visa? How does the marriage thing work as well? Once I marry, will I gain citizenship automatically?

You get 90 days from the day you get the visa stamp regardless of previous entries. For example, enter on Dec 10th and leave by March 10th, without a problem. Just leave every 90 days and come back in for another visa.

Another poster may be au fait with marriage and residency requirements.

There is supposedly a change that now the tourist visa is 180 days. I asked the immigration guy coming in at PTY last week and he said yes, 180 days. But not sure if this is really official yet, Executive Order and all that. I wouldn't chance it quite yet. On the other hand your N.American drivers licence is only valid for 90 days after you enter, so that is something to consider.
