    Buenos Nachos

What is the fastest way to learn Spanish. Please keep in mind, I am married.

I am not afraid to invest in seminar style super-learning or other intense programs. After all, communication is a major part of ones personality.

I have heard very good things about Rosetta Stone software and will try it. It is computer based with speech recognition technology and they have Spanish for Latin America available.

The translation of the Spanish quote doesn't appear to be accurate. It seems to be closer to "Everybody has their own way to kill fleas"

That is correct. The Spanish idiom has that meaning to express the same thing.

The Germans say "Es fuehren viele wege nach Rom" meaning "Many ways lead to Rom".

I started the Rosetta Stone Spanish Latin America Version 3, Level 1, about a month ago and like the way it presents and teaches. The only problem I have is my PC has a 500 MB hard drive and system requirements for R-S are 600 MB hard drive. It took 3 tech support sessions to figure this out for me and of course they shut off the tech support then.

The package works about 80 to 90% of the time , but in scoring the results, it shows a skip on those questions it does not have room for. I will finish the course but check your hardware against their requirements before spending $225. Otherwise it is muy bueno!
