Thread: Golf Courses

Can anyone tell me about the golfing situation in Panama? Are there many courses (besides the ones on the resorts)? Greens fees? Etc? Thanks.

Valle Escondido in Boquete has a beautiful course, check out their website. I think the green fees are $75 for non-members, but we don't golf, so I could be mistaken.

The golf course at the Decameron and the cost is open to the public at $75/person for 18 holes and the cost of a golf cart is $25 for 2 people. They also rent equipment. If you are staying at the RD the price for 18 holes is much less.

I have heard that the Coronado Golf Course is around $120 for 18 holes.

Concensus is that the Decameron is a much better course. Also the Decameron is having specials Monday-Thursday for the all-inclusive of $54/person/night.
