Thread: EMS mail in Panama?

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to the forum, but have been living in Panama for 10 months now. My wife and I moved here from Toronto.

i know that the shipping options are very limited here. I see many Asian/European sites have EMS shipping options and that PanamaPost is a partner of the EMS network. Has anyone ever shipped anything into Panama with EMS? Do they deliver to your residence? or do you need to pick up the package at a location. This method is much cheaper than the MBE option for medium sized packages. and much much cheaper than using DHL.

Hi, sorry for the lateness. I have been looking for a way to send items from Panama to US at affordable prices and yes, the local mail sistem called COTEL (Correos y Telegrafos de Panama) offer the EMS service. I am not sure how it works, but I know they offer that service.
