Thread: Relocation Tour Group

Hi

I would like to plan a trip to Panama (scouting mission) for 1-2 weeks. I would like to tour the country as much as possible to see if I would want to bring my husband and dogs to Panama for 3 months. If we like life in Panama (And I think we will) after 3 months of touring we will find a place to rent for 1 year before we sell our house in Florida.

I will be coming to Panama alone for the scouting mission so I am looking for a reputable tour company that would take me around the different areas of Panama so I could get a feel for where I might like to live.

We want to be near good health care. Neither of us have any health issues but as we get older I am sure we will and we want to be close to good care and a good hospital. I have heard a lot about Boquete but it seems so far away from the airport (would make it difficult for family when they come to visit) nor can I find any information about hospitals located there. Does anyone know anything about Chorrera. It seems close enough to the city without being IN the city.

I would be willing to buy a tour vacation package but just don't know which are good and which are a rip off. Any good recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Boquete is a nice mountain area within easy driving to David . David have a nice airport where your friends can fly into from Panama City . David has excellent medical avalible . A huge population of Gringos live there . Boquete is very cool compared to a lot of Panama . As far as a tour company I do know of one "very honest" man that always takes care of our transportation when we land in Panama City . I believe he may be able to help you .
