Moving to Panama City, residency, tax adviser, property, internet access

I shall be heading for Panama City next week as I have bought an apartment at Bahia del Golf and wish to make contact with a series of professional advisors.

Firstly, as I may wish to retire there in the summer, I am interested in establishing residency. Any recommendation for an English-speaking professional who can help me with administrative stuff, visa, etc.?

Secondly, I should wish to talk to someone who is qualfied to advise on entering the Panamanian tax system.

Also, if there is anyone who has good experience with a property letting agency (must be English speaking).

And lastly, I trade financial instruments via the internet. How good is the communications infrastructure in terms of access, availability and efficiency? Any idea of the costs for setting up and maintaining broadband access in a private apartment in Panama City? Is this actually possibly over there? If yes, any recommendations of a good service provider?

I would be most grateful for your response as it would save a great deal of time and effort for this non-spanish speaking English man.

Many thanks. In anticipation of your kind response.

    Paul

Any help out there? Am looking for info on:

    1. English speaker/support person for all the admin stuff to establish residency in Panama. Am self-sufficient. Who can help?
    2. A good English-speaking letting agency in PC. I tried Century 21 (no good!). Any other recommendations?
    3. Any broadband providers in PC that you can recommend? Set-up costs, how much does it cost? Reliability? Am NOT looking for WiFi or internet cafe access btw.

Many thanks if you can help. Paul
