Help me with stores to buy stuff.

OK i got a new apt in Sfranciso, Its unfurnished but it has appliances..

Does anyone know where i can buy the following stuff:

    Furniture(Bed, dresser, computer tables, etc)
Kitchen stuff like GOOD plates, pots, pans, blenders, mixers, etc?

Im looking for something good but reasonably priced..

Example i don want a $2,000 bed. but i dont mind paying $500 for a good bed.

Well, you have about 5,000 choices in Panama City; I think your best bet is to start visiting some stores on the main drags (Via Espana, Calle 50) as well as the malls (Albrook, Multiplaza, El Dorado) to see what you like, and to compare prices. Popular budget furniture outlets are Ancon, Homecenter, and a place near Espaņa and Brasil whose name I've forgotten; something like Discount Furniture. For kitchen stuff, try Costo, Saks, Conway, and Stevens.

    Hi,

I found La Onda in MultiCentro, after purchasing all of my furniture and accessories at places like Conway, Titan, Novey (and about 100 other places). It is tucked away in a corner of the mall. If I would have found it sooner, we could have saved $1000's. Not quite the caliber or quality of places like Conway, but the prices are excellent, and they have some really funky stuff.

Titan is great for things like kitchen supplies. They were a little more expensive than Novey for some of the same items, but the selection was slightly better. Credito Mondales and Conway have some gorgeous furniture, but they are a little more pricey.

Good luck, funishing an apartment is an adventure!!
