Thread: Moving to Panama - young family!

Hey all!

Iv read some post and gotten mixed ideas. Just hoping i could get some advice.

I am 21 yrs old and planning to move to Panama with my family, we will be travelling back and forth from Dubai to Panama, but plan on staying there. We want somewhere that is fun with a good nighlife. How is Panama\s nightlife?

Because of this we decided to move into the city Panama city, but after reading some threads i read it is not safe. can i get some advice on this?

As far as the nightlife goes, if you're 21...you'll love it. There's a lot of options and no, it's not Miami, but it is great. There are clubs, pubs, bars, pool halls, restaurant/bars, all kinds of choices.

You have to be careful if you are outside your native country, no matter how much safe the host nation seems to you. But from my own experience I can assure you that Panama City is much safer than US cities like Miami and Las Vegas. (Still it'll be better if you don't fall in to the false sense of security).
