Thread: mail service?

what mail service do you recommend i use to forward mail from USA.

By the way im moving to Panama, but i still want to keep all my credit cards/records coming to a USA address, so i pretty much have to get a mail box here, and request forwarding?

I use Mail boxes etc. They give you two US addresses, one for letters and one for packages. They have very good and quick service. You can look them up on line.

Yeah that might work, another service that I found interesting was one that scanned your mail and sent it to you via e-mail. Now that's not good for physical mail or mail you'd want to keep, but for letters etc. it might be convenient.

I think Mailboxes etc has lost my parcel? Should have been here a couple of weeks ago and they have no idea where it is.

Is Mailboxes Etc or any other mail forwarding service available on the Azuero, or must you travel to PC or David?

They lost about 20-25 % of my mail. Worst company I have dealt with in Panama.

Mailboxes Etc used to be a UPS company. Now Mailboxes Etc in US/Canada is one business and Mailboxes Etc Latin America has been purchased by some Italian company. They have built a new location in Miami to receive all the mail/packages.

Now they have started to lose mail.

So, now that the Italians have ruined something that worked, our only hope is that a US business subject to US federal laws get on top of this again.

I am not really happy right now especially with the prices they charge.

Do you have a tracking number? Which Mailboxes Etc office do you deal with?

It wound up being a letter sent to the packages address. Not sure if they will be able to figure out what to do in that situation?

Yes, of course they do. There is a post office in every major town.

A Panama PO Box can only be seriously used to avoid the retention fee for your bank statements and things that you could care less if they got lost or stolen. As per long term (3 year) use of several mail services in Panama.
