Animals

What kind of animals have you seen in Panama that are usually not seen in other countries (especially in the urban areas)?

Dogs, cats, and other pets wouldn't count since they are often seen around the world. And while raccoons are found in many parts, they aren't seen often seen on roof tops at least where I live. And the reason I bring this up is due to the picture of a raccoon on a roof top posted in this forum's blog.

Hi Charlez! I've seen monkeys on trees, baby crocodiles and turtles in a small lake.. and fly and spider eating lizards.

nuaeman, there are snakes and spiders... but you will find them mostly in jungles - wear good footwear and look before you walk.

On a safer note, and i also wrote something related to this in a different post, Panama's national park seems very popular with birdwatchers.

He's going with me, also to safe my future house.
There is any problem with this kind of dog in Panama?
