Panama-Guide.com - Having fun there in Florida? It's only August and millions of Americans all along the East coast and the Gulf of Mexico look warily toward the warm Caribbean, wondering exactly how many tropical storms and hurricanes mother nature plans to throw at them this year. It's the same drill every season, and sooner or later no matter where you live in the South East of the United States, and especially those in Florida, will be staring down the barrel of a significant hurricane. Tired of that crap? Then move to Panama. We see some real serious thunderstorms and tropical downpours, but hurricanes tend to be spawned here and then they head off elsewhere to cause serious damage. The storms always turn North and leave us alone. So, we're watching the news and we feel for you, but not having to deal with hurricanes every year is a big part of the Panama allure for a lot of gringos.
