Panama-Guide.com - Thanks to the exploits of the criminal fraud duo of
Anne and John Darwin, combined with the additional media attention created by the filming of the new James Bond film
Quantum of Solace in Panama, it seems like all of a sudden there has been a new burst of attention in the United Kingdom with regards to Panama, retirement, and real estate. I follow the "feeds" every day, and in the past few weeks (since the Darwins were convicted and sentenced to six years each in prison) there have been more Panama related stuff than ever coming out of the UK. From what everyone in the real estate business is telling me, the US customers have been falling off a little due to the tightening economy and the realities of the real estate markets there, but the slack has more than been covered by new customers from Europe. In any case, no bursting bubbles yet.
