Are right hand steering vehicles legal in Panama?
I am considering importing a right hand steer wheel car from japan..is that legal in Panama?

I have seen a right handed Toyota parked in the garage of the building I live in so I think so? If this is a special vehicle to you go ahead and import it. If it is just a daily driver my advice would be to sell and purchase something in Panama. You can reall pick up great deals on cars down here.

I can get a 8 passenger hiace for about 3k in Japan a van like that would cost like 10-12k in panama used right?

That sounds about right. You would probably want to talk to an attorney about importing the vehicle.
