Radio

Anyone know if there are any English music radio stations here? I've only found one so far, and it's so-so. The cab driver told me about another one, but I've forgotten it and I'm not sure if my radio is just failing to get the signals. Thanks in advance.

You didn't say what *kind* of music you're after, but try FM 91.7, 97.9, 98.9, and 104.3. Some of these kind of mix it up between Latino and Brit/American music; 104.3 seems to be the most consistently Anglo.

Also, there's http://www.pbcpanama.com/ and http://www.coolpanama.com/

As long as I can get the Internet, I'm good to listen to whatever Internet radio stations I like.

As such, I don't much care about local stations anymore -- no matter where I am.

Shoutcast Radio has a tremendous variety of stations. I access it through Winamp personally.

I never really looked for an english station when I was down there, I was too busy listening to new music and finding new bands on the radio to listen to. When I did want something or was in the mood for oldies I got it off the computer or plugged in my iPod.

Twocents, I did that for the last 13 months in Mexico, Honduras, and now Panama. I'm just looking to hear some American music for a bit. Thanks though.
