Hey Folks, just wanted to say hello. My associate and I are on our second 4wheel scouting trip of the country. The last time we spent most of our time in Boquete, Volcan, Panama City, and spent a nite in Bocas and Las Lajas. This time it has been the beach trip. We just came from the bottom of the Azuero Peninsula. We are currently using the internet in Santiago and are heading towards Santa Catalina once we leave the internet cafe. Luckily we got a really good toyota 4x4 and have done some major exploring and real estate shopping. If anybody is looking to move and live in Panama and wants to be part of a community the peninsula is the place to be. I would suggest coming down, renting a 4x4 and spending sometime exploring if you plan to move. There are different Panamas and each has it's own uniqueness. Time to go see if we can get the 4x4 stuck in the mud, hasta.
hey there mrwoohoo. well, he said it's a scouting trip... so maybe it has something to do with business. anyway, i hope he'll make some photos if he finds some really nice landscapes.
Hi MRWOOHOO! Sound like a real adventure. If you find a little paradise, be sure to let us in on it! And I agree with taking some photos and sharing them with us. Take care of yourself and have tons of fun!
Hey folks, the peninsula was fun, it is a good place to go four wheeling. One thing to keep in mind it is remote and the nearest real hospital is David or Panama City about 4-5 hrs away. There is some real nice beach that you can swim in Las Lajas. I am in Panama City currently and the weather is real nice, somewhat of an ocean breeze and it does not smell that much.
