Hello,
I am new to Panama. I am living near Punta Pacifica but work out at Ciudad de Saber. I was hoping to find someone that I may share a ride with out to Ciudad de Saber each morning. Cabs are more expensive that I had expected. I would be willing to pay some sort of fee for the ride, though it'd definitely have to be less than what I would pay for a cab. Thank you for your consideration.

Busses don't work for you? Another thought: If you don't find someone here (or on craigslist), maybe you could "contract" (verbally) with a taxi driver for a daily ride. Many would be happy to have a guaranteed daily gig, and might repay you with a discount.

Usually busses would be fine. However, it would take roughly an hour and a half to get out to work each day. That's an extra 3 hours each day. I have contracted a cab driver, but it's still much more than the gas used to get there and back each day....hence, my reasons for seeing if I could pay someone about $3 per day to ride along.
