Living in PanamaPanama is one of the best places in the world to live, either part-time or full-time. Chat with current and future Panama residents about the living conditions, real estate, food, schools, shopping, restaurants, the expat scene, dealing with Panamanians, and more.
If you like partying all night you can try the Gallery. The Gallery has dance music which is what I prefer. Many of the other clubs here are nicer and have more people but the music isn't to my taste. I just don't feel the latin rythyms the way I do from mechanical pounding.
I live in close proximity to Miami nite club and I am always amazed at the amount of business they do. By Thursday evening the place is PACKED!!!! This past Thrusday the lot was completely full by midnight and 6 cars were lined up waiting to park. I think they have an open bar? (I honestly have not been in there, I swear, my girlfriend is cute)
You may also wish to go to night clubs that offer open bar. Open bars have free drinking either until a set time or even throughout the night. Some clubs run Open Bar almost every night.
I started looking at the links and said to myself "Huh?". It is funny to see that the club La Bodgueita (I think) is probably the first stop for every single foreign guy that hits the City of Panama.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is an open bar? I have never heard of the term before. Open bar means to me, not closed, and available to serve drinks if you pay for them. But it doesnt sound like that is what is meant by the term the way people talk about it here.
When I was in Panama, I quite enjoyed the bar/club at El Panama Hotel. Latin kind of music but it had a good atmosphere.
I found more places to avoid. A rather enthusiastic taxi driver took me to Crystal Moon and the Cotton Club and I hated them both - not my scene at all. I think he had some sort of preconceived idea of what visitors to Panama want and extrapolated that to me. Or he had some sort of deal to take visitors to those places.
There are a lot of Night Clubs in Panama where for sure you can find a lot of fun. All ages can feel comfortable in Panama's night clubs. If you are a visitor then you shouldn't miss such clubs
Open bar means one price and you drink till you drop, get carried out, get thrown out, or respectively leave and go back home to your wife. The cabbies take you to particular clubs because they are getting paid and paid WELL for taking you there and dropping you off. I am half tempted to drive a cab.

So am I! :-)
So where are the open bars in Panama City? Sounds like fun.
