Is that 1,200 in US dollars or a different currency?

Ok, I'm talking with a good friend of mine (she always knows about apartments at a good price)... she will let me know shortly. Do you have any preference as to location? or just a safe and comfortable place somewhere in Panama City will do?

There are a lot of apartments available in Panama for $1,200 US. That's a lot of money in Panama for rent.

If the person looking to rent does not have to live in Panama City I might suggest Boquete if you like a tropical Switzerland feel with plenty of Americans. Absolutley beautiful area.

coolandhot, not really, it seems almost impossible to find an apartment/house for shortterm 1-3 months!! I´ve called and answered maybe 20-30 different ads and called to realestateagents aswell. Everybody wants to rent it out for 6months up to a year, or longer.

But please if you could recomend something, I would appreciate it!

I wasn't thinking about short-term.

Maybe you could sublease an apartment for short-term.

Hi Patrick!

My friend found a fully furnished apartment that is available for short-term rental.

It has a size of 150 square meters (1,650 square feet), 2 bedrooms, one working room, 3 bathrooms, cable TV, internet access, washing machine, swimming pool in the same building, and 24 hour security. It's in the banking area of Panama City. The owner has agreed to rent it for 3 months (maybe less if needed). Upon entering the apartment you have to pay one month rent as security deposit and the first month's rent in advance. The deposit would be returned upon leaving the apartment.

I PMed you the owner's contact details.
