Why Panama would not be a good place to raise kids? It has good food, schools , kindergardens , universities , hospitals , parks and even more beautiful landscapes than many countries .
I think it is an exceptionally great spot to raise kids. I spent a good deal of my childhood there and the good memories that I have of my time there are the best ones. I remember living here in the States too, but it always seemed so drab and boring compared to the summers and extended breaks I spent in Panama City and the country.
Why wouldn't it be?! From my perspective, any country that's fit for human dwelling is a good place to raise children. Children are raised by their parents, not their environment. I, for one, was raised in Panama - and if I may say so myself - turned out okay...

I have the same point with Panamax. To have children with good human behavior depends mainly on the parents' upbringing. Teaching good values is the responsibility of parents. No matter what the environment will be as long as the children have a strong and a good foundation on human relationships, then they will be better human beings.
