Have you ever moved?

Have you ever moved? Do you think it is hard work? I was helping my friend move today and it wasn't too much fun.

Yes I've moved... is it fun? NO! I'd say it's just like moving in any other country... a lot of carrying and sweating. I think it also makes a big difference on where you are moving to (on the last floor in a 10 floor apartment building that has no elevator wouldn't be too much fun I think).

Yes, I agree with lee. It can be a lot worse depending on the buildings you are moving from and to. Of course, if you don't mind the cost, you can hire movers.

If you dont have allot of stuff, moving is a breeze. I like to think of moving as an adventure. If you are going from one apartment to another, no big deal. Now if you move to another country you had just better be ready for the change. I am going to be moving to Panama myself in the next few months and I have spent a considerable amount of time getting used to the fact that life will be very different. The biggest reason people move back to their home country is they never thought about adjusting.

I helped my sister to move to her new house and it was very hard, mainly because she was moving into a smaller house with significantly less room.
