Does anyone know of a good music store (similar to Guitar Center) in Panama City?

I'd be interested in knowing how the prices compare to the U.S.

I am not sure of the name but I saw a large one on the second floor in Allbrook Mall, I believe and also have seen in El Dorado Mall. I dont know the names.

You will find the prices and selection sorely lacking in Panama. Not sure how it is for guitars and such but if you are looking for DJ, Live PA, mixing or serious soundcard equipment you won't find much.

Also, unless you are looking for top 40 hits from America or Reggaton you won't find many CD's to purchase.

Come on Panama... I need a digital underground music store!

I believe the original question by lbochs was whether there are stores who sell musical instruments. He referred to Guitar Center. Their website http://www.guitarcenter.com/ shows Guitars, amps, etc.

So lbochs wants to MAKE not BUY music!

The world needs a lot more music makers not passive sponges. Hope you get some good leads lbochs!

A good store is CIA Alfaro on Via Argentina

last year i bought an Peavey AMp overthere.....they gave me a good deal...
always try to negociate !!!

and ofcourse here is full list :

cial faro isn't too bad. it's the best I have been to in Panama. couldn't remember the name but when I went to the website and saw it I realized it was the place I had seen.

going to check out the yellow pages list though... I need a set of Pioneer 800's.
