    university costs

Does anyone happen to know the costs of medical degrees in Panama, and/or nursing degrees? General costs per year or total costs for the whole thing?

That was a good question , I have made some research as I was myself interested to find out , it seems that depends on the area of study, type of studies and of city but anyway is cheaper to study in Panama than in the USA . You may check some of the prices here :

No. In the 1st world, each government (usually state or province) has its own set of exams and licensing procedures for those professions (as well as many others). Lots of US doctors went to med school outside the US (Guadalajara is popular), but they still have to get through an examining board in the state where they want to practice.

    Re: university costs

Check out the websites of good universities like USMA (Santa Maria La Antigua) www.usmapanama.com or Universidad Latina Universidad Latina de Panamá
Remember that there are differences in level of education between private and public universities. The national universities departments in the interior of panama have a low level of education.
I will start a master programme at the USMA university in february.
    Todo esto es vida, vivela!
