university costs

Does anyone happen to know the costs of medical degrees in Panama, and/or nursing degrees? General costs per year or total costs for the whole thing?

That was a good question , I have made some research as I was myself interested to find out , it seems that depends on the area of study, type of studies and of city but anyway is cheaper to study in Panama than in the USA . You may check some of the prices here :

would a nursing degree,Law or a medical degree be reconized in places like the USA or canada? I know that only nursing degree's are reconized from places like Thailand or the Philippines....

No. In the 1st world, each government (usually state or province) has its own set of exams and licensing procedures for those professions (as well as many others). Lots of US doctors went to med school outside the US (Guadalajara is popular), but they still have to get through an examining board in the state where they want to practice.

I also wonder what spanish courses they have there for english speakers. Step one first I guess - learn the language!

And we have to pay for visiting a university in Panama to study Philosophy f.e. ? Or is it free?
