Has anyone in the group actually purchased a new car in Panama? What is the process using your Pensionada visa? Are they really a lot less expensive than in the US? I am particularly interested in the Toyota Prado.

Any information would be a help.

Did you find out anything? From what I've seen, cars are more expensive than in the US but cheaper than in many other Latin American countries.

no information yet. We are going back to Panama in a coupleof weeks and I plan on looking into the costs at that time

I've never bought a new car anywhere. Every car I buy is used, but I've never bought any car in Panama.
