    Primary Schools

My family is considering a move to Panama, assuming I receive a job offer I'm hoping for. My kids are ages 4 and 7. I've found a few international schools where the classes are taught in English, but they are all very expensive (like $7,000 enrollment fee per child and $7,000 annual tuition per child!). These include the International School of Panama, Oxford School, and Balboa Academy.

Is anyone aware of any less expensive options? I'd love for my kids to learn Spanish and move on to a public school, but I've been told that will take 2 years at a minimum.

    Any advice would be great!

I just talked with my girlfriend that is a public school teacher here in Panama and has worked in private as well. Here are her suggestions:
    1. La Salle - still expensive
    2. St. George - One near Panama City, one in Chitre.
You can also ask your attorney. They can usually find out whatever you need.
