Free Legal Help

Is there a way to get free legal help in Panama? Are there any books or other resources that a person can use to solve their own legal problems, to avoid having to get a lawyer?

I think most lawyers offer free consultations. Also, you can always look up the answers to specific questions with Google and such.

YouŽll problably get free legal information, but youŽll have to pay a lawyer to go through any legal proceedings.

You could always go through the legal proceedings yourself, but if you come across any trouble nobody will be there to answer your questions.

Actually proceedings involving visas of any kind, work permits, formation of corporation, and any case took into courts you need a lawyer to represent your interest. It’s established by the Panamanian Law.

Rgds.

My personal suggestion is to talk with several attorney's before making a decision. You will need one if you plan to live and bring money into the country.
