What fees are involved in residency?

When trying to become a resident in Panama, what fees will a person incur? Is everyone accepted as long as they can pay these fees?

Live and Retire in Panama - Visas, Residency and Citizenship
This site offers info on the main types of visas, financial and legal requirements and fees incurred: pensionado/jubilado, forestry, investor, person of means, etc.

A concise listing of the fee schedule

The official migration site, where all the forms live

Be careful of places charging for tourist visa that are not airlines (you will be granted the $10 visa on the plane to hand over in Customs) as you will pay a lot more for the same thing.
As always, a little google goes a long way: Fees for Panama visas - Google Search

Cheers.

Those are all great links, Lalaguayaba. And, it's true what you say about being wary of people who offer to sell you visas and such. There are a lot of people who would rip you off.
