Let me follow this logic a bit closely so that I can understand the debate better.
-Every time Microsoft releases a new operating system, it is usually followed by at least a dozen update to correct bugs. The same thing cannot be said for Apple's operating system. Now is it due to Govt. over regulation, high union wages, or lack of quality built into their system. Remember that Apple almost went into bankruptcy because they were producing the same low quality product as Microsoft until they find their ways.
-Toyota, Nissan or any Japanese car manufacturing are able to produce high quality cars years after years and sell them at a reasonable price, and good gas mileage. The same thing cannot be said about Ford, GM or Chrysler. Again I'm asking, is it Govt. over regulation, high union wages, or lack of vision and leadership from the top.
-Insurance companies in the U.S. are sending their medical test to India to be analyzed rather then have it done in the U.S. Further more, they are starting to send patients overseas for treatment and surgeries. Same question as above.
-Country like Scandinavia have been using smart phone technologies for years now. Only recently we are seeing them being introduce in the U.S. We are still waiting for the full deployment of 4G in the U.S., we can only use our smart phone to do limited transaction. Again same question as before, is it Govt. over regulation, High union wages, or lack of vision from the top.
Now I'm not a Union lover, As a matter of principal, I refuse to work for any unionized company, but I must acknowledge that have served a good purpose. I can't stand any over regulated laws, but allowing companies to dump their toxic waste into the environment in the name of competition or whatever is a whole different matter. I will bet all that I own that the Japanese people wishes that their Govt. had denied that nuclear industry the permit to build those reactors in the location that they did or at the very least insisted that they build them with a much tougher standard.
I got to go watch football now (American style). catch you guys later.
