    Obama Prints Another $450 Billion

    Obama Goes Big

Apparently to make it more favorable for small businesses to be in the US and deal with endless levels of administration work and a tax code noone understands.

If they would only wake up and reduce Government instead of making special exceptions that increases the administration costs for all businesses.

on the flip side, if businesses didn't spend millions every year trying to undermine the regulations, we would not need a larger govt. trying to catch them with they illegal activities. Can you tell me what large govt. had to do with the oil spill in the coast of the U.S. (just one example).

This should be called the "Obama Re-election stimulus plan". After this money runs out so do the jobs, but thats ok Obama will have duped 51% of the population into believing he has righted the sinking ship by then.

Re: Obama Prints Another $450 Billion

He's never run a business, made a payroll (or a budget) and knows nothing about job creation. A trillion dollars didn't do any good, so let's throw another $450 billion down the drain. Either he lacks complete economic sense or he's intentionally trying to destroy the country. Gee, another new labor poster required to be hung up in the company break room for everyone to ignore--this one telling the 94% of private workers that are not union that they have a right to join a union. Don't you think they know this and, like an increasing number of folks, have concluded that unions are nothing but a scam to get workers to support bloated salaries and benefits of a corrupt organization? Meanwhile, millions if not billions will be spent by businesses in buying posters or facing silly proceedings before the union-staffed NLRB.

Lots of people hope and pray otherwise, but I completely agree with you. As they say, "when the government robs Peter to pay Paul, it can always count of Paul's support" and there's a lot more "Pauls" than "Peters."

to me it seems that if you are in the army or have family in the army you would be voting for Ron Paul . he wants to bring them all home , unless you want your kid, brother , sister, husband or wife , all blowed up .

wait a minute.... I though that Mr. Obama as president of the U.S. can only make proposal, and it is up to the Congress and the Senate to pass the bill into law. Last I check, The congress is firmly in the hand of the Tea Party....I mean the Republican.

Still missing a part of the proposal that's coming "over the next few weeks"---where the cuts are to pay for this. I think it's DOA and will fade away (famous last words.)

Agree with you 100%. IMO, neither part has the will to solve the problem facing the U.S..
-How do they propose to deal with the mortgage mess? Nothing good will happen until that is addressed.
-How do they propose to deal with lack of jobs in the large urban cities like Detroit. It's way way cheaper to build a factory in India, Korea, China to name a few.
-How do you tell Microsoft to hire American engineers at $80k a year + insurance, + retirement package when it can get an Indian or a Chinese on a working visa and pay a fraction of an American salary and no benefit.
I can go on and on with the challenge facing the U.S.
I'm glad I'm not a young men entering the market place.

yes it would suck to be just starting out in the states , but i dont understand why the american people let the FED get control from the time it was started on jekyll island in 1913 , you people have gone to war for less than what it has done to you , devalued your dollar about 95% so far , so it will be handy in the bathroom .

Since when did the common folks have control over the affairs of their countries. Beside, we are living in a world that is "flat" now meaning that the U.S. don't have the leverage they once had, and couple that with the greed of large corporation, and voila they (U.S. Europe) have a mess in their hands.

Re: Obama Prints Another $450 Billion

Obama does not require congressional approval. he will just sign an executive order or he will direct some agency head to proceed with what ever he wants. He will have Bernanke and Geithner issue 50 or 100 year bonds to try and keep the ponzi scheme afloat. Rolling over short term debt into long term destruction. Congress has never been more irrelevant, remember there was talk of obama bypassing congress to pass a budget using some contrived interpretation of the constitution. The socialists will always find a way to continue the spending. Say what you want about Obama but he is being true to his word, he is fundamentally changing the United States Of America.

I get so furious reading news I can hardly breathe. And I am not even an American. It pisses me off that after doing everything right in my business and life the shit the USA is creating is affecting my life savings and opportunities because the inflation these assholes create is being imported by every single country on Earth. This is why a lot of people hate the USA.

you are not alone many people are furious. It is more important to channel that energy into finding ways to protect what you have worked so hard for. In the eyes of the Government they are entitled to the fruits of your labor and will come for them when they see fit. I hold the only international currency known to man for protection against these keynsian animals.

I generally agree with the author's statements about the condition of the economy, but not so much about the reason. Sure, it's easy to blame the owner of an apparel factory in the South for closing and moving to China in the 70s but it wasn't to make more money -- it was to survive. The industry was losing money because it could not compete in a global economy. Same for tire manufacturers, steel manufacturers, etc. In other words, these industries weren't going to stay in business anyway with the labor costs they faced. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, just that many manufacturing industries closed because they couldn't compete, not because they are greedy, nasty "corporations."

I agree 100%. Corporations are in business to make money, when they can't accomplish that because of onerous govt regulations or high union wages they just move production elsewhere. The money a corporation earns should be for it and it's shareholders enjoyment.

Let me follow this logic a bit closely so that I can understand the debate better.

-Every time Microsoft releases a new operating system, it is usually followed by at least a dozen update to correct bugs. The same thing cannot be said for Apple's operating system. Now is it due to Govt. over regulation, high union wages, or lack of quality built into their system. Remember that Apple almost went into bankruptcy because they were producing the same low quality product as Microsoft until they find their ways.
-Toyota, Nissan or any Japanese car manufacturing are able to produce high quality cars years after years and sell them at a reasonable price, and good gas mileage. The same thing cannot be said about Ford, GM or Chrysler. Again I'm asking, is it Govt. over regulation, high union wages, or lack of vision and leadership from the top.
-Insurance companies in the U.S. are sending their medical test to India to be analyzed rather then have it done in the U.S. Further more, they are starting to send patients overseas for treatment and surgeries. Same question as above.
-Country like Scandinavia have been using smart phone technologies for years now. Only recently we are seeing them being introduce in the U.S. We are still waiting for the full deployment of 4G in the U.S., we can only use our smart phone to do limited transaction. Again same question as before, is it Govt. over regulation, High union wages, or lack of vision from the top.
Now I'm not a Union lover, As a matter of principal, I refuse to work for any unionized company, but I must acknowledge that have served a good purpose. I can't stand any over regulated laws, but allowing companies to dump their toxic waste into the environment in the name of competition or whatever is a whole different matter. I will bet all that I own that the Japanese people wishes that their Govt. had denied that nuclear industry the permit to build those reactors in the location that they did or at the very least insisted that they build them with a much tougher standard.
I got to go watch football now (American style). catch you guys later.

Microsoft has millions of configurations to support. They also have 15-20 times as many customers. Apple controls the hardware and OS side. The number of updates do not relate to "banana prices".

Try to compare Detroit's and Japan's labor force and you might understand what is preventing innovation.

The complexity of the US rules and a legal system resembling a nuclear wasteland obviously encourages companies to bring as much as possible to other jurisdictions.

The EPA is not a union.

I bet the people of India and a few other countries will be mad at their governments 30-40 years from now cause they allowed absurd birthrates resulting in wide-spread tribal wars, water shortages, starvation and an extreme level of pollution due to the increased energy consumption.

For the sake of your family stand with the man with the biggest guns and the greatest land possessions. Earth we will most surely completely destroy beyond recognition - I hope in my lifetime so I can enjoy the madness.

Re: Obama Prints Another $450 Billion

    Let's see.

Bush inherited a $250 billion surplus (from Clinton) and turned it into a $1.5 trillion deficit on 8 years. He left President Obama with a $1.5 trillion deficit in his first year in office. So, debt under President Obama has increased approximately $4 trillion under his administration but, approximatelt $3 trillion of that was from Bush deficits leaving approximatel $1 trillion of President Obama new spending. So, was Bush hell bent on destroying America with his reckless spening? I think you really need to search your inner souls before making broad assertions about our current President intent. I am sure had he not killed Osama Bin Laden you would say he is going soft on terrorism because he is a "closet" Muslim. Ridiculous!

Re: Obama Prints Another $450 Billion

Here is a nice movie about the destruction of the US mind:

    HBO Hot.Coffee.2011.HDTV.XviD-FQM Torrent - btjunkie

Most American's who see the movie appear to think all these disgusting awards make sense.

The US appears to have turned into a country where they think it's good if someone breaks a bone during vacation since the GDP goes up. The value adding part of the GDP is dwindling every day.

It costs 18 dollars to transfer a deed for a property + 1,000 in taxes for the average US property. Non-transparency, outdated government systems and fkd up BS lawsuits have turned this into a 10,000 dollar industry per transaction (also non-value creating work).

The whole country seems to have turned into stupid paper pushers who's attention you best seek by referencing BS lawsuits. Some deadbeat soldier in Iraq lost his home to foreclosure - result - 5 million extra pages per year for home buyers.

Reason is gone, so is the Great American empire. The eggtimer should have gone off when they realized they could no longer file their tax returns without an expert.

The corporations produce a product if they can't produce a quality product at a fair price the consumer will put them out of business, unless of course you happen to be a bank, car company or other favored business entity of Obama. Capitalism works great when it is left alone to function properly. If the govt wants to put onerous regulations on companies who can blame the companies for relocating. Boeing tried to open shop in business friendly South Carolina only to be bullied by the progressives in Obama's National Labor Relations Board, insisting they have to give those jobs to the unions in Washington State. Who can blame Boeing if the decide to start building their planes in Asia? Unions and govt regulators are the parasites feeding at the corpse of a once great nation.
