The collapse of Socialist Europe is well under way! Of course the wealthy are the first to recognize a problem and move their money. This is worth watching. Eddie Hobbs - TV3 - The Euro Collapse - YouTube

Greeks have pulled over 900 million out of the banks there. How long before the banking system implodes if this continues?
News Headlines The run on the banks has begun.

The writing is on the wall For Socialist Europe. Post collapse I wonder if the Chicoms will step in and buy the ports and natural resources? People never see a bubble when they are in a bubble. Europe can't be saved Germany would be smart to dump the PIIGS now.

The non-PIIGS have real estate that needs to drop by 40 % on an average so it might be better to hang on to them for now.

I have read that there is a move afoot by the EU to force repatriation of funds back to failing Greek banks. The educated people pulled their money and deposited it into Swiss accounts but now the good Socialist of the EU say that is not fair to everyone else so they are working to pass a resolution to strong arm Swiss banks. I say put the cash anywhere but a bank and then they can't get their thieving Socialist hands on it. I think it is wise to watch and learn from what happens in Europe so we can have an idea what to expect when the same scenarios visit the U.S.

Well, the US has done the real estate crash course, but noone paid attention, especially not the Swiss with their 2 bedroom 2.5 million dollar condos in Zurich and Geneva. After the US crash the Europeans seem to have said -- cool, let's do the same but with a much larger transient - our loans are different so we are immune. Lesson to come!

The greeks with lots of money could get a Panama corp and a Swiss bank account for it. A good safe combo!

The people buying into these bubbles and then having their asses handed to them get what they deserve. I wonder what will arise from the ashes of the EU once it finally implodes?

They will blame the banks and high paid CEOs. On the other side of the crash you have higher taxation and an "open door policy" towards to the middle east in an attempt to grow taxable population. Possible some countries will split up in even smaller parts while the monetary union is dismantled.

They will not blame themselves for bailing out the banks. Neither will they blame "rent control" nor government subsidized loans.

What you say is so true!! I can see them standing in the ruins of Socialism while they cry to the world that "Capitalism has failed them".

As the world pondered if the Greek banks would collapse from bank runs, it seems the runs on Spanish banks had begun in earnest. What can you expect from a country that only allows a person to spend 2500 Euros in cash.
Nationalized Spanish Bank Plummets On News Of Bank Run | ZeroHedge

Let's see the Europeans pull their money from the banks in panic and buy worthless U.S. treasury bonds and then Bernanke gives loans to the Eu central bank to prop up the sick banking sector there. Hmmm?
