    About the residency visa

My question is about the $300k visa called solvencia economica.Supposing I only have $200k, is there a way around the law? Somebody told me there is .Here is what he told me.
I can invest $150k in real estate or CD bank account.
With the remaining $50k,you buy a piece of land and put it in a corporation. You then segregate it for a price of $150k and sell it to yourself. He says this way you can qualify for the $ 300k investment.
Personally I find it hard to believe but maybe I should ask a good lawyer.
Anybody has an opinion on this?MRWOOHOO ,maybe your attorney can clarify if it can be done.

Best to talk to a competent attorney. I'm sure some people who are resident will have referrals for one.

Here's a chart I have bookmarked of the various visa options:

Panama Immigration - Cpanama Real Estate Corp.

$200K is more than enough for the 'large' reforestation visa. It's only 80K for that. There is an option for 60K also, but it'll take 5 years to get official residency/citizenship status (if I remember correctly). It's only 2 years with the 80K option.

dsc, with the reforestration visa of $80k , you may get the permenant residency (there is no guarantee) after 2 years. But they say with the new law, you have to leave the $80k investment perpetually,or else you lose your visa.
I don't think most attorneys will tell you that,or else nobody would go for it.

dsc, in the chart you have bookmarked, the retiree rentier visa was modified .You only need $850 interest per month to be eligible. With today's banco nacional de panama interest rates of 4% for a 5 year CD ,you need an investment of $255k plus $5k fee to apply for it.
