Hi Laura! I heard about a great spanish School called Ileri, I didn't study there but know someone who did and she was very happy with the results she got. They are located in El Dorado and I just found their website, it's:

You can also find language teachers on craigslist. You may also find listings of local classes in your area.

I think it's you who must decide for how long you want to be thaught by a Spanish teacher , and that would depends on your budget and your ability to learn a foreign language . For instant, for me would take just a month or so of Spanish classes in order to be fluent in this language since my native language is also a Latin one , but for an American , German , Assian and many others would take more since their first language is so different from Spanish .

Actually you have already know the basics of the Spanish language, there is no need for any formal study as now you are totally immersed in a real Spanish speaking environment.

Re :
Just make sure you use a Spanish course LangLearner that offers a good step-by-step structured lesson plan that is enjoyable. That way you will see yourself progressing from one level to the next, which will keep you motivated and some good general guidelines to get you started. I'm learning Languages with this tool it's very helpful and I hope it helps you.
